Yacht and Motor Cruiser Charters

Working with the experienced team from Cornish Cruising, we can help to arrange sailing yacht and motor cruiser day charters, from Mevagissey or from Falmouth.  The Fal Estuary and nearby Helford River provide beautiful anchorages, sheltered beaches and safe swimming in areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Should you wish to venture further afield for a little longer, you can even explore the magical Isles of Scilly, sail across the Channel to France or around Land's End, into the Atlantic and on towards Ireland.

Bespoke Rib Hire

Ribs are an exhilarating way to get on the water.  The team at Cornish Cruising have a fleet of Ribs available for charter Bareboat or Skippered Charter, from Falmouth Marina or from Mevagissey.  The Ribs are available for 6, 8 or 12 people, and are fully MCA safety coded category 3.

The Ribs are huge fun. They are family boats ideal for beach hopping, water skiing, exploring, fishing, swimming, snorkelling or just sun bathing. They are designed to cut through the impact of the waves, giving a smooth comfortable ride and like all Ribs, they handle superbly and are easy to manoeuvre at speed.  They offer a very dry ride and are reassuring and forgiving to drive.  They are an ideal boat for a driver with minimal experience.

Learn To Sail

Improve your sailing with experienced instructors offering Royal Yachting Association courses. Cornish Cruising offer RYA courses from their base in Falmouth for yachting weekends, cruising, one day, theory, radar, first aid, sea survival and yachtmaster qualifications. Whatever your ability they have approved sailing courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. With Cornwall's warmer climate they have boats sailing on the water all year round.
